The donuts are AMAZING!!! The breakfast is nothing to run to but the donuts definitely are. Great local staple and will be back.
The donuts, cinnamon rolls, and açaí bowls are 5 stars. The breakfast has been hot and delicious every time - I've dined here twice (inside and outside). Service has been great both times. I recommend getting here early. If you sleep in - go to the donut counter and get an iced coffee and a donut which will help you pass the time while you wait. I recommend sitting outside, if you can. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 (and I wish 4.5 was an option) is the cleanliness of the inside dining area , but it will not stop me from going back or from recommending this restaurant to friends.
Very popular during breakfast time, so dont come in a rush. Breakfast very well cooked, decent speed after ordering but obviously depends on amount and party size.
First time at Layton's this morning and I was stunned. Ask for the best server when you get there and you'll get Cosmin. He works 7 days a week and he's very pleasant and a great person. Haven't had a breakfast like this all year so I will definitely be back!
I still love this place. I've been going since I was a kid. It still gets crowded but food is great. Wonderful place to have breakfast. I had my regular French toast with bacon. I always enjoy my time here and have to go at least once during my stay. I recommend.
What a great breakfast, just steps from our lovely condo! We were in OC for the oceans calling festival 2023 and came here one morning for breakfast. I got the hungry man's griddle and it was soooooo good. The sausage gravy was delicious and just the right consistency the potatoes were crispy on the outside and nice and tender inside. And the mound of shredded cheese made my heart happy. I'll definitely be back next time I'm down the ocean!
For a quick breakfast, layton's hit the spot. Once seated, I got my order in pretty quick and my orange juice came out right away. I was torn on what to order. I enjoyed the seafood omelette and was surprised I finished it.
